Receiver In The Ear / In Canal (RITE/RIC) and Open Fit/Slim Tube

Modern in design and discreet in size. RITE/RIC products allow for a mild to profound fitting range. Customizable, they can be fit with domes or earmolds. The chassis contains most components, with the receiver at the end of the ear tip, connected by a fixed wire.

Open fit hearing aids eliminate the need for a receiver. Designed like a RITE/RIC but for mild to moderate hearing loss. The receiver is replaced by a slim tube with an open dome.

Behind The Ear (BTE)

Traditional hearing aid style, built with a custom earmold created from an impression. BTE hearing aids are typically recommended for moderate to profound hearing loss. Largest of the BTE category, they are easy to use and flexible on features.

Invisible In Canal (IIC)

IIC instruments are custom fit and positioned deep in the ear canal. They offer the most discrete cosmetic advantages, yet are limited in features. IIC hearing aids are designed and recommended for mild to moderate hearing loss.

Completely In Canal (CIC)

Discreet in size with the option of additional features. CIC instruments are custom fit partially or completely in the ear canal. CIC hearing aids are typically fit and recommended for mild to moderate hearing loss.

In The Canal (ITC)

Semi discreet and custom made to fit within the first third of the ear canal. ITC hearing aids allow for an increased fitting range and feature set. Generally these instruments will be recommended for mild to severe hearing loss.

In The Ear (ITE)

Custom made to fit within the lower bowl or full portion of the outer ear. ITE hearing aids allow for the largest fitting range in the custom category. Due to their size they are capable of including several additional features and options.
